Hotel Bernat II 4*Sup Calella, Calella

Despite the booking mix-up, the hotel rooms were maintained to a good standard although lacking soundproofing and private balconies. The service was friendly but could have been better considering the hotel's capacity. The location offers superb access to restaurants and the old town, with direct access to the pool, although could have been bigger for a hotel in this class. The dining experience was quite poor, with limited options at inconvenient times. Overall, the hotel is a good option for a stay with room for improvement in various aspects.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, and I even got a cot at no extra charge. The partial sea view was a nice touch, although the neighboring room was a bit too hot for my liking. Magdalena and the mealtime staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my experience delightful, but I did find the reception and housekeeping staff a bit distant at times. The location was excellent, a short walk to both the beach and the main street, with convenient access for transfers. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a satisfying selection of meat and cheese but lacking in other areas. Facilities were good overall.

The hotel offers very comfy beds and clean rooms, but falls short of a true 4-star experience. The lack of space in the rooms is a downside, especially for larger groups, and the overall ambiance is not as expected for the price paid.
